Trust matters to us
We understand that you care about your child's education. That is why we openly explain how we use AI, what data we store and how we securely document learning progress.
Trust through transparency
Would you like to know what your child learns at PLU and how AI supports the learning process? Here you will find all the information – transparent and easy to understand.
"AI is not a replacement for teachers, but a tool like a calculator or an encyclopedia – only one that responds to your child individually and meets them where they currently are."
We understand that you care about your child's education. That is why we openly explain how we use AI, what data we store and how we securely document learning progress.
A structured learning path with four important stages
Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence: What is AI? How does it work? What are its limits?
Learn morePractical application: Effective prompting, critically questioning AI responses, productive collaboration.
Learn moreResponsible use: Data protection, copyright, ethical principles, recognising limits.
Learn moreIndependent projects: From idea to implementation – with AI as a creative partner.
Learn moreAI competence is expected in almost all professions. Your child has a head start.
Learn moreAI does not always answer correctly. Your child learns to verify and question information.
Learn moreAI is a tool, not a threat to creative skills – on the contrary, it expands them.
Learn moreYour child learns to research independently and implement projects on their own.
Learn moreHow we ensure that your child really learns
We use AI as a learning tool, not as a copying machine – real understanding comes first.
Every submission is checked for plausibility – we notice when something does not fit.
Oral exams and project presentations supplement written work.
Transparency in AI usage: Those who use AI document it honestly.
Focus on process over result: The learning journey matters more than the perfect answer.
We store only the minimum. No sensitive data, no sharing with third parties.
All content is checked for age-appropriateness. No inappropriate topics.
You can see at any time what your child is learning. All progress is traceable.
You stay in control. Viewable at any time, adjustable at any time.
Take a look at the content. We have nothing to hide.
Talk to your child about what they have learned. Learning together is more effective.
Your feedback helps us. Tell us about your experiences.
Do you still have questions? We are here for you. Learn more about our AI Academies and how your child can best get started.
To the AI Academies"The best education is one that not only imparts knowledge but also awakens curiosity and encourages the courage to take new paths. With AI, we have a tool that enables exactly that."
Making free, high-quality AI education accessible to everyone – regardless of age, prior knowledge or budget.
Every contribution counts. Whether one-time or regular – you enable education and make the universe bigger.
Support nowAs parents, you want the very best for your child. We understand that completely. That's why PLU places the highest value on transparency, data protection and responsible use of artificial intelligence.
We do not see AI as a replacement for pedagogical guidance, but as a tool that individualises learning and meets your child exactly where they are. Our methods are proven, our content age-appropriate and our technology always under human control.
Before your child uses AI, they learn what AI actually is and how it works. We explain the technology in an understandable way – without technical jargon, but also without oversimplifying.
Your child understands that AI is not an all-knowing entity, but a mathematical model that learns patterns from data. They recognise the limits of AI and learn when human judgment remains indispensable.
In the second phase, it's all about practical application. Your child learns how to use AI purposefully to solve tasks more efficiently, develop ideas or structure content.
We place particular emphasis on prompting: the art of asking AI questions so that you receive useful, precise and creative answers. At the same time, we practise how to critically question AI outputs and compare them with your own knowledge.
Not everything AI outputs is correct or good. That's why a central part of our teaching is the critical evaluation of AI-generated content. Your child learns to systematically check whether an output is plausible, fair and factually correct.
We also cover the ethical and legal dimensions: data protection, copyright, bias in algorithms and the question of which data should be entrusted to an AI – and which should not.
In the final step, it's about not only understanding and using AI, but actively helping to shape it. Your child develops their own small projects, experiments with AI tools and considers how the technology can be used responsibly in the future.
This creative and design-oriented part promotes not only technical competence, but also entrepreneurial spirit and social awareness. Your child moves from being a consumer to being a shaping actor.
Artificial intelligence will play a key role in almost all professional fields. Those who understand early on how AI works and how to use it sensibly have a significant advantage – not only at school, but also later in working life.
At PLU, we don't prepare your child for a specific job, but for a world in which technologies are changing rapidly. We strengthen the ability to continuously learn and use new tools confidently.
AI systems can be deceptive. They sometimes produce hallucinated facts, adopt prejudices from their training data or formulate things so convincingly that they are believed unquestioningly. That's exactly why critical thinking is one of the most important skills we teach.
Your child learns not just to consume information, but to actively check it. They question sources, compare different perspectives and form their own, well-founded judgment – regardless of whether the information comes from an AI or a human.
A widespread misconception is that AI replaces creativity. The opposite is true: AI can accelerate ideas, generate variants and overcome creative blocks. It is a tool that extends human creativity, not replaces it.
At PLU, we use AI to stimulate thought processes and show new ways. Your child remains the designer at all times: they decide which ideas are good, give them a personal touch and implement them in their own projects.
One of our central goals is to make your child an independent learner. AI can help find information faster and develop solution approaches – but initiative, perseverance and independent judgment come from the learner themselves.
We promote project work, independent research and setting personal learning goals. Your child learns not only to follow instructions, but to ask questions independently, find ways and accompany projects from idea to implementation.
We use AI as a tool, not a replacement for our own thinking.
AI is a powerful tool, but control and responsibility remain with humans. We critically verify AI outputs and make informed decisions ourselves.
We promote critical questioning and independent judgment.
AI can make mistakes, produce hallucinations, or be biased. Critical thinking is the best defence against misinformation.
We respect data protection and privacy.
Personal data deserves protection. We handle information responsibly and protect everyone's privacy.
We educate, not just reproduce – knowledge is shared and expanded.
AI reproduces existing knowledge. Humans create new knowledge and pass it on – this is how society develops.
We remain human in a technological world.
Technology should extend our humanity, not replace it. We cultivate interpersonal relationships and social competences.
The protection of personal data is our highest priority. We store only the absolute minimum necessary information and do not pass data on to third parties. All our systems comply with GDPR requirements.
When working with AI tools, we are meticulous about ensuring that no sensitive or personal data is entered into public models. For confidential content, we exclusively use secure, locally operated or enterprise-grade solutions.
All content that your child goes through at PLU is checked for age-appropriateness and didactic quality. We do not show any glorification of violence, discriminatory or sexualised content.
Even when using AI tools, we rely on safe environments with integrated content filters. This ensures that the generated responses are suitable for the respective age group and do not raise inappropriate topics.
We openly document where and how AI is used. Transparency creates trust and enables informed decisions.
You remain in control at all times. As parents, you have the right to see what your child is learning, what progress they are making and which tools are being used.
Our platform is designed so that no automated decisions are made about the learner. Teachers and parents can intervene at any time, adapt learning content and meet the individual needs of the child.
We have nothing to hide. As parents, you are warmly invited to look at the content and learning materials that your child goes through at PLU.
Transparency is the foundation of trust. The better you understand what your child is learning and why certain methods are chosen, the more secure you can feel. Take the opportunity to look through the courses together with your child and ask questions.
The best way to consolidate what has been learned is through conversation. Talk to your child about their experiences with AI, their projects and the questions going through their mind.
These dialogues not only promote understanding, but also the relationship between you. They show your child that you are interested in their development and give them the chance to feel like an expert in an exciting field.
Your feedback helps us get better. Whether praise, criticism or concrete suggestions – we take parents' perspectives seriously and let them flow directly into the further development of our offers.
PLU lives from the community. The more we know about the needs of families, the better we can design our content, methods and communication. Get in touch with us at any time.
